Objectives:
The main objective of this charity night is to raise a medical fund and the fund will be donated to those who
needed money to cover their medical expenses. From our knowledge, we know that there are many people who
needed money for medical treatment. However, their family is facing a huge difficulty in getting such amount to
cover their medical expenses. So, Leo Club of Georgetown Central decided to organize this charity night to raise
a medical fund in order to help these families to cover part of their medical fees.


Aim:
Our aim for this charity night is to raise as much money as we can to form a medical fund to help those patients
and their family to cover their medical expenses. Therefore, we hope that you will be able to support this charity
night by providing us your services with the minimum charge or if possible, without any charges to help us to
raise a larger amount of fund in order to help more people who are in need.


Donations and Free Tickets
All donors who donate a certain amount will be given a free ticket and the donation amount and the free ticket
given are as follow:

if Donate RM 120 will get free VVIP ticket
if Donate RM 60 will get free VIP ticket
if Donate Rm 30 will get free Normal ticket

Separated recycle papers - 15 Octorber 2010

On the 15th Octorber 2010, Our form3 BOD and some members had cleaning up our 3R room at our school .
We separated those papers we had collected into 3 group,such as black and white,colours papers and newspapers from the three big 3R Trash..
It is hot and sweat to whole body .
but we din't feel suffering because recycle can safe our mother earth :)

Children's Movie Day -"SAMMY'S ADVENTURES"

On the 9th of October 2010 , VP Caster Yeoh and Environmental Service Director Tan Shu Ping had attended the Children's Movie Day -"SAMMY'S ADVENTURES" project which organized by New Century Lions Club of Penang Island at GSC penang.

Its was a nice project together with alots orphan .
Thank to New Century Lions Club of Penang Island give us a chance to join it :)

"WALK FOR SIGHT"

Date : 10.10.10 (Sunday)
Time : 7:00am to 12 noon
Venue: Padang Polo
Registration Fees : RM 10 ( goodies bag, blind fold, certificate & lucky draw)

Multiple District 308's "WALK FOR SIGHT" project is set to be carried out concurrently throughout the District on 10 October 2010. This project is held in conjunction with Lions Clubs International's World Sight Day.

Regions 1, 2 & 3 Lions, Lionesses and Leos will be organising this event at the Penang Polo Ground, Jalan Sepoy Lines, Penang at 7.00 a.m. The Rt. Hon'ble Chief Minister of Penang, Lion Lim Guan Eng will be invited to flag off the participants to be witnessed by State Government dignitaries and Lions dignitaries. To date, the Organising Committee helmed by President Oh Aik Kim of the Lions Club of George Town have secured the support of the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) and St. Nicholas Home for the Visually Impaired as co-organisers with others to be confirmed shortly.

Participation fee for this 3Km walk is RM10.00 whereby all participants will receive a goody bag (worth more than RM10) and a lucky draw opportunity.

A special recognition will be given to donors who contribute RM500.00 towards this meaningful project - they will be conferred the "KNIGHT OF THE BLIND" status by District Governor Hudson Hah and will receive a framed certificate to attest to this conferment.

All proceeds will be channelled to the St. Nicholas Home for the Visually impaired and Lions Sight First project Funds.

The organisers appeal to all Lions, Lionesses, Leos, friends and supporters of Lions to come forward and join us in this meaningful project. Tickets will be available through Lions Clubs and St. Nicholas.
