􀂙 WHAT EXPERIENCE MEANS (Definition)

􀀹 Experience in a service organization usually means taking part in activities.

There are many activities which can be carried out by Leos whether they are Alpha Leos or Omega Leos.

The activities can be categorized under different headings, e.g.:

1. Health Services 6. Environmental Services

2. Educational Services 7. International Services

3. Social Service 8. Anti-drug Abuse

4. Public Service 9. Sight Conversation

5. Recreational Services 10. Speech & Hearing Action

  1. Each of the above categories can be implemented by carrying out specific activities, for instance:

Organizing a Project involves

1. Self publicizing

2. Discussing the project in some detail

3. Submitting the intended Project to the Leo Leaders

The rudiments in organising a project would include the following:

What the Project is for?

How the Project is to be carried out?

When the Project is to be carried out?

Participation in activities would mean:

1. Stating the Project

2. Planning the Project

􀂙 Manpower

􀂙 Publicity

3. Reporting the Project

􀂙 To the Lions Sponsoring Club (Lion Leo Advisor)

􀂙 To the School (Faculty Advisor)

􀂙 To the District (Leo Club District Chairperson)

Experience will prove very useful to Leos

􀀹 Top add on to the possible areas for further extension/expansion

􀀹 To bring skills and knowledge to Leo
